ParaFree uses 6 AI engines in a smart fallback chain: Groq, Google Gemini, Cerebras, OpenRouter, Mistral and Cloudflare. When the primary engine (Groq) is busy or rate-limited, the system automatically tries the next one. This is why ParaFree almost never goes down — there are always backup engines ready.

ParaFree supports TXT files, PDF files, DOCX (Word) files and PPTX (PowerPoint) files. For PPTX files, use the PPTX mode in the Paraphraser tab. For other file types, you can upload them to paste the text into the text area for processing.

Yes. After processing, you can download results as a PDF or DOCX (Word) file. For PPTX files, you can download the paraphrased presentation as a new .pptx file with the original formatting preserved. You can also copy text to clipboard with one click.

Go to parafree.app, click the Paraphraser tab, then click the upload icon and select your .pptx file. ParaFree will load the file and switch to PPTX mode. Select your paraphrase style and language, then click Paraphrase. The AI will process your slides in batches and you can download the result when finished.

ParaFree uses 6 AI engines in a fallback chain. If all engines are simultaneously rate-limited or unavailable, you'll see an error message asking you to try again in a moment. This is rare and usually resolves within a few minutes. The AI status indicators in the tool show you which engines are currently active (green), at their limit (orange) or unavailable (red).
