How do I make a quiz from my notes?

Paste your notes or upload the file, choose Exam prep for the longest quiz, and click the button. Open the Quiz tab, pick an answer for each question, and see your score with an explanation for each one.

The questions come only from your material, so they cover what you were taught rather than a general version of the topic.

Why practise with a quiz before an exam?

Answering questions forces you to recall information instead of re-reading it, and the mistakes show you exactly what to revise next. A quiz made from your own notes is a quick way to find the gaps a day or a week before the exam.

Because the same pack also has flashcards and key points, you can read the key points, drill the cards, then take the quiz — three passes over the same material.

How many questions are there?

Pick a size before you start. Quick gives a short set of key points, a few cards and a five-question quiz. Standard suits a lecture or a chapter: about ten key points, a dozen flashcards and an eight-question quiz. Exam prep makes the most — about fifteen flashcards and twelve quiz questions — for revising a whole topic.

Can I trust the answers?

Files are read in your browser, and long texts are cut down to their most central sentences (TextRank) before anything is sent, so the AI gets at most about 4,000 words. That text goes to an AI provider to write your pack and is not saved by ParaFree. The AI is told to use only what is in your material, but it can still make mistakes — check anything important against your notes or textbook.

Make a practice quiz in four steps

  1. Add your notes. Paste them or upload a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or .txt file.
  2. Choose Exam prep. For the longest quiz; Quick or Standard for a shorter one.
  3. Make the pack. The AI writes the quiz, flashcards and key points together.
  4. Take the quiz. Answer each question in the Quiz tab and read the explanations.
